Techn'hom hosts many companies in an environment conducive to their development located close to Belfort city centre.

TANDEM, the Belfort territory heritage company, in conjunction with the Belfort Council and Urban Community originated this future-oriented project and is continuing to develop the possibilities. This successful project has had a major economic impact in the Territoire de Belfort.

A European-scale project

Techn'hom hosts over a hundred industrial and service businesses and 7700 persons in its 110 hectare site located at the heart of Energy Valley. Benefiting from the rich industrial heritage of the Belfort area, the business park is home to major companies in the transport and energy sectors, such as Alstom and General Electric; but it also houses SMEs in the manufacturing or service sector. Thanks to immaculate urban development, the training centres and public areas, visitors view Techn'hom more as a university campus than an industrial zone.

TANDEM- a business real estate specialist

TANDEM owns over 230,000 m² at Techn'hom; it rents out a wide range of service and industrial premises and also offers many services to companies on the site (wifi, high-speed broadband, business centre, convention rooms, etc.) and to company employees (creche, canteens, l'Orange Bleue, bakery, take-away food, hairdressing salon, brasserie-restaurant, bank).

Enhanced property assets

Techn'hom has witnessed 130 years of uninterrupted industrial activity. The industrial heritage has been preserved throughout the years, as witnessed by the stylish renovation of the former factories. The bright colours of the buildings emphasise the red brick style typical of the 19th century.

Many buildings, in particular General Electric's European headquarters or l'Orange Bleue were designed specifically for TANDEM by Marc Warnery of the Reichen et Robert Associés architects.

This long-term collaboration with TANDEM ensures durable and consistent development of the business park.
